Auditions for "HMS Pinafore" and "Trial by Jury"

Troupers Light Opera will present HMS Pinafore with Trial by Jury as a curtain raiser at Saxe Middle School in New Canaan, CT on Mar 22-23-24, 29-30, 2002. Our productions use professional directors and a full 30-piece orchestra.

We held auditions for principals and chorus members on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26 and WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2001. Some parts are still available.

Those auditioning for principal roles or chorus should prepare two contrasting works, at least one of which should be in English, which best demonstrate their ability. For specific roles please prepare one aria with recitative (if applicable) from HMS Pinafore. Candidates should also be prepared to read dialogue.
